Zugg Glass

Janet Zugg discovered the wonders of this remarkable medium while working with pristine crystal glass at the Simon Pearce Studios in Vermont. Undistracted by color in her early effort to master the essential nature of this material, she found the flow of this hot metal, discovering its potential for form. When Zug Glass was established, color arrived. Broad sweeping color splashes across her work, reflecting her personality and aesthetic. Zug Glass is represented in fine galleries across the country. Her designs are bold and functional, meant to bring light and beauty to everyday living.

Atmospheres Candles . This is a new color design on an established shape. The color is on the surface making them texural, and the functional shape makes them a safe burning candle. A bottle of liquid paraffin oil and a mini funnel are included for each piece. 3"wide x 4 1/2" high . $76.00

Allegro Bowls. The Allegros are new this year. As the musical term allegro implies, these bowls appear to be alive with motion. The fluidity of the design suggests the movement of hot glass. 7"wide x 3" high . $60.00
